Describes their personal style: When it comes to decorating a home, we feel that our specialty is helping our clients find their own personal style even if they're not sure what that style may be.
Favorite splurge for this project: The original art by Bunn Grey and Andrew Saftel.
Favorite bargain for this project: The books on the bookshelves. They were only a dollar each and some of them had quirky titles such as Power Tools for the Modern Woman.
Describe the project: Our client is a heart nurse so she is surrounded by people who are sick and some die. Debbie wanted her house to be about life and reflect her own optimistic personal style, a place where she could entertain, share a laugh and feel good about her surroundings.
Your favorite part of the project: Creating drama by the use of color.
What can serve as your design inspiration: Just about anything, for example, art, a unique piece of furniture, a client's collection, etc.
Designers you admire: Loyd Paxton of Houston, Texas .
Favorite places to shop for home decor in the Nashville area: Manoirs, NDC, Designer's Gallery,
and At Home Nashville.
Favorite brands and designer lines for the home: There are endless choices, more than ever before. It depends on the style, needs, and budget.
Easiest way to make a room look pulled together: Color and furniture placement.
