Ceiling neglect is so common when it comes to interior design.  Why is that?  Is it because for so many years all we have seen are dull white ceilings?  Ceiling details are a great way add interest to any space.  It could be as simple as painting them a color.  Or by adding some trim moulding is another great way to add some pizazz  to your  design projects.  It could be as intriquet or as simple as you choose.  Any time that you give your eye a reason to look up, your room will look larger and that is especially true for an eight foot ceiling heighread more »

When it came to re-designing this master bathroom.  Nashville Interior Designer Vicki Donovan added  a large bench, seamless glass, a sloped floor, and a  adjustable hand held shower head to meet the special needs of her client.

When re-designing a small Master Bathroom you can't always accommodate two sinks, a large bath tub, a separate shower, and a toilet.  What's the use of having a soaking bath tub and a separate shower if their too small to use?  Sometimes you just can't have both and be comfortable.  So, choose the one that you use the most and make the most of it.  You will be happier in the end.

     Choosing the right paint color can add charm and character to any interior design project.  On this design project we chose shades of pink and brown for our color pallet and this room is pretty in pink.  Deeper shades of paint color require more light in a space and that was the case in this project.  So, we changed the chandlier and we added recessed can lights to properly light this space.  This client had a lot of wonderful accessories to work with.  My moto is shop from home first.read more »
